About the Artist
Tony Guaraldi-Brown is an artist and art educator. He graduated from Sonoma State with a bachelor’s degree in fine art and later completed an MFA at the College of the Arts in Oakland, California. With a classic illustrative style, his work explores the idea of 'personal demons' and the effects they have on our lives, as he creates unforgettable macabre characters with beautiful depth and purpose.
Tony was the lead artist for the comic book The Final Plague (Action Lab Comics) and The Showdown (Broken Icon Comics) as well as an illustrator of short stories for the Hot Rod Horror anthology. Along with creating artwork for several SF bay area bands, Tony has created work for Fat Wreck Chords, producing artwork for the band NOFX as well as artwork for the personal collection of Fat Mike Burkett.
Tony lives with his children in Northern California where he teaches art and frequently exhibits his work.
